Data Deletion

Data deletion

Last updated: 29 June 2026

No online account

DriveClear does not require, create, or store an online account. There is no email address, password, or profile held on any server. We have nothing to look up, recover, or delete on your behalf.

Where your data lives

All intake entries, settings, favourites, and preferences are stored locally on the device you used to enter them, using your browser or installed app storage. Nothing is uploaded to a DriveClear server.

How to delete your data

You can remove all DriveClear data from your device using any of these methods:

  • From inside the app: open Settings and use the Delete all data control to clear intake history, profile, and preferences from this device.
  • Uninstall the app: removing the DriveClear app from your Android or iOS device clears its local storage along with it.
  • Clear browser site data: if you use DriveClear in a browser, clear site data for driveclear.nz in your browser settings.

Once deleted, the data is gone from that device. Because DriveClear keeps no copy on any server, there is no backup to recover from.

Per-device data

If you have used DriveClear on more than one device or browser, repeat the steps above on each one. Each device stores its own independent copy.

Exports you have shared

DriveClear lets you generate PDF or image exports of your own records and share them via your device. Files you have already sent to other apps, contacts, or services are outside DriveClear's control. To remove those, delete them in the destination app or ask the recipient to do so.
